<bgsound src="californiaaintfar.mp3"> Jeremiah was born in Cincinnati, raised in Memphis and went to Messick high school, playing in various bands in the Memphis area. He left Memphis in 1975 when the disco fad started and moved to Texas playing in a country-rock acoustic group. Needing to make a little more noise, Jeremiah re-located to Denver in 1978 sliding into the scene with a band he put together with drummer Bobby Vernon aptly called the "VERNON-MCMAHON BAND". For the next three years he enjoyed a nice rockin' run playing the ski circuit from Jackson Hole, Wy. to Flagstaff, Az. and all roadhouses in between. Life was good with the exception of the bass player's snoring.
He and soundman Tommy Blackstock, also a bass player, but one who didn't snore quite as bad, headed for the Prescott National Wilderness in Arizona to withdraw from society and just do some pickin' and grinnin'in the saloons on Whiskey Row in Prescott. Needless to say, that didn't last very long, so in 1986, Jeremiah moved back to Memphis to re-discover his musical roots. He teamed up with Frank Whiddon to play the 1st Cooper/Young Festival and other small venues around Memphis specializing in Buffet-style jams. But Jeremiah wanted a tight Rock and roll band with a wide appeal! Thus, in 1991, ROCKERS OYSTERFELLA was concieved.

Now all Jeremiah needed was some players. And he found a jewel in the rough with ultra-talented and equally dynamic Chris "SPOTTIN" Watson. Coming from a strong Scottish family with four sons who liked to play music, Chris, the youngest, was born to rock. Whenever the brothers needed a player, "Spottin" stepped in. Be it bass, singing, drums or guitar, Chris was there! Now he's the backbone of the band with his solid guitar licks, smooth vocals and song-writing ability. Next up was a solid drummer with good vocals. Jeremiah had always remembered a good friend in one of the first bands he was in, who could sing his ass off and play drums, so he recruited Bill Perry. Playing with "DESERT WINE", a country band from Roosterpoot, Ms and singing the blues with the Memphis band "THE DIXIE DOUGHBOYS", Bill was ready for a change and came on board. His soulful voice and high harmonies added to the already solid vocals of the band.
